St. Louis County Library has been ranked as a four star library in the Library Journal Index of Public Library Service for the fourth consecutive year. SLCL is the only library in the St. Louis area to be included in the index this year, and one of six in the state of Missouri. The rank of four stars indicates a high per capita use in four major areas of library service: library visits, circulation, program attendance, and public Internet computer use. The ranking is based on statistics from 2015, when SLCL circulated over 13 million items. Learn more.
