SLCL and Operation Food Search are teaming up to provide lunches to children this summer at select SLCL locations starting June 5 through August 18, 2023. After School Meals will begin on August 21, 2023.
Nine SLCL branches offer a nutritious lunch along with activities for kids from 12:00–1:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Pizza will be provided on Fridays. Meals must be eaten on site and will be available free of charge for children 18 and under.
Artists from Bread and Roses Missouri will lead a new art project each week during the summer lunch program that helps kids tell a story about themselves, their family and community. Learn more.
Groups, please contact hosting branch at least 24 hours prior to attending so that the proper amount of meals may be ordered.
