Natural Bridge Branch Reopens

The Natural Bridge Branch will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13. The branch closed on June 30 after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. The building has been disinfected. We will continue to follow CDC and St. Louis County guidelines to help ensure the safety of staff and patrons. Learn more

New Eureka Branch

A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Eureka Hills Branch was held on Wednesday, June 24. The new 15,000 square foot branch is expected to be completed in summer 2021. This full service branch will include a colorful interior, an interactive children's area, private study rooms, a teen space and a community meeting room, along with other amenities. Learn more.

SLCL Reopens

All St. Louis County Library branches open Thursday, June 18, with limited capacity and services. Patrons 9 years and older are required to wear a mask to enter the library. Visits are limited to 60 minutes per patron. Computer usage is limited to 45 minutes. Additional safety measures are in place. Learn more

Curbside Services Starts in June

Curbside service will begin at all branches on Wednesday, June 3. This contact-free service allows patrons to reserve and pick up books, movies and more while practicing social distancing. Patrons will also be able to request and pick up print-outs. Learn more.

Book Drops Reopen May 26

Book drops at all 20 St. Louis County Library locations will open on Tuesday, May 26. Patrons may return books, music and movies to the book drops. Please continue to keep items at home that can only be returned inside a branch–including musical instruments, puzzles, telescopes, Sci-finders kits, binoculars and other items that will not fit through book drop slots. Free Books at Drive-thru Meal Service

St. Louis County Library will provide free books to families attending drive-thru meal service starting Monday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m. Each family will receive a bag containing three new books–one for pre-K readers, one for elementary aged readers, and one for teen readers. The books are intended for families to keep, they do not need to be returned to the library. Supplies are limited. Learn more
