The seven-acre site was previously home to Marshall’s Nursery. The new Meramec Valley Branch will be a full service library branch encompassing 21,000 square feet. Amenities will include a Discovery Zone for children, private study rooms, a quiet reading room, a community meeting room, a business center, a community garden, a walking path, and an outdoor reading deck. The branch is expected to be complete in early 2019.

Read While You Ride!

St. Louis County Library is teaming up with the St. Louis Promise Zone and Metro Transit to bring community library boxes to four transit locations throughout the region. The boxes will be stocked with novels, children’s books and magazines that transit riders can pick up to enjoy while they ride MetroLink, MetroBus and Metro Call-A-Ride. No library card is required, and there is no cost, no fines or due dates. Borrowers are asked to simply return the materials to a community library box when they are finished.

Playaway Launchpads

Playaway Launchpads are now available for in-library use. These devices will help keep your little one entertained while you use the library. Just ask at the Circulation Desk.
